FINAL SHOTS

We are off... see you in Cincinnati!

blessings, The Team

DAY 8 & INTO DAY 9-- FINAL DAYS

Day 8 & into Day 9
We have had an awesome final few days here. We went to the Western Wall at night on the evening of the Shabbat. We pretty much had it to ourselves & it was a wonderful experience. A white dove stayed on the wall above us the whole time & we know the Lord was telling us He is with us. We can certainly feel Him.

Yesterday saw the outside of the golden gate where Yeshua/Jesus will walk through when He returns. We also walked the very street where He would carried His cross to His death. It was rather hard to picture the Lord walking these streets as they are overrun with street vendors & shops. Our times of sensing the Presence of the Lord are not always in the places we suspect. We did have an unbelievable time prior that while at the Pools of Bethesda. We walked into a church where others were gathered from around the world & they were singing Amazing Grace. The acoustics were such that it sounded like angels were singing with us. Somehow, we know they were. A few of us sang individually as well, and Barb played her flute. Our tour guide, Abraham, was very moved. But we were more so moved when this wonderful Jewish man, Abraham--who has so richly blessed us-- got up to sing solo. His voice resonated and echoed throughout the church as we all listened—and cried. We have found God is so many unsuspecting places along the way, and here… in a Catholic church…surrounded by others of different faiths, a Jewish man blessed us once again with a Song from his heart.

Last night we went to the King of Kings prayer pavillion. It is a panoramic tower that overlooks all of Jerusalem. We prayed final prayers of blessing over this land. God has done so much and we are glad and so very thankful that He has allowed us…and YOU… to be a part of it. We know He answers prayers & really believe that He will indeed release the flood of His glory in this place.

We have a free day today and will be going back to the Wall… and of course do some shopping. We leave at 5:00 pm EST on Sunday for our flight home. Keep us in your prayers as we travel as it will be a long flight. We will see you soon. [I may try to post one final picture later today after our free day]

Thanks for standing with us in this trip... we could not have done this without you.
Blessings to you, in HIS Aroma… from the land of Israel,
The Eye of God Team

[Oh, by the way… DAVID took us to the Wall on the Shabbat & DAVID also took us to the King of Kings prayer tower!]

DAY 6 & 7 TO JERUSALEM

Day 6 & 7
WOW… Sorry, no blog yesterday…. we were all a bit overwhelmed. Just to re-cap briefly, after watching an early morning sunrise over the Dead Sea, we left for Jerusalem.
As for Jerusalem… all we can say is WOW.

Our tour guide brought us into Jerusalem the very route that Jesus & the ancients would have traveled up over the desert ridge and over the mountains into Jerusalem. Abraham blessed us so richly and words can’t even begin to explain all that we felt as he took us to an overlook of the city, prayed with us & gave us communion. You have to understand… he is Jewish. He prayed the prayers in Hebrew that his family prayed and did the communion ceremony in the same spot as well. There was not a dry eye present and truthfully, we were overcome. It is one thing to pray for this city… another thing altogether to see it’s walls & feel it’s Presence.

We have stood in the Zion gate, beheld both sides of the Golden Gate, stood on the Temple Mount & beheld many other things. Every place we go it is so very powerful.
Today we went to the Western Wall & Hezekiah’s tunnel. We also saw the vessels made for the Temple described in Ezekiel. They are awaiting their place in the temple yet to be built. [ By the way, the pictures are of us walking Hezekiah’s tunnel. ]

God is doing much in the prayer & prophetic realm. He is showing up in the most unique and powerful ways… truthfully, words are inadequate. One thing that is a food for thought… and of which we are still pondering… Our guide is ABRAHAM. Yesterday, we were fed by ELIJAH, and today MOSES taught and witnessed to us. You try to put words around that one.

We will be going into prayer and worship after posting this. God always shows up.
Thank you so much for your prayers… we feel them and know that angels go with us as well.

Blessings to you from the Holy Land,
The Eye of God Team

DAY 5 EN GEDI & THE DEAD SEA

DAY 5
What an awesome day we’ve had. Traveled to En Gedi on the Dead Sea considered a desert oasis in Biblical times due to the flowing water cascading down the mountain and the unique animals that live in the rocks. It was awesome to actually be in the area that is described so beautifully in the Song of Songs of the bridegroom… “my lover is to me a cluster of henna blossoms from the vineyards of En Gedi”…

The waters actually cascade down the mountain in at least 6 different waterfalls and pools. We swam or walked in many of the pools and crystal clear waters.
We prayed as we stood in the waters that the intimacy of the Lord would flow as a well and a river from those who stand upon Him, the Rock. There was much joy going forth and it gave the picture of just how refreshing our Lord is to those who trust in Him.

We swam…or rather should say… we floated in the Dead Sea today. It was quite a trip in buoyancy, and it makes your skin really smooth afterwards. Once again we are declaring the fullness of Ezekiel 47:1-12. We continually speak forth life over this region and the entire land. Tonight we had a long time of prayer and revelation concerning the Lord’s covenant with Israel and the Jewish nation. God is so good to reveal His heart for His people. Please continue to pray for revelation as the pieces are beginning to connect…all the places we have traveled and things that have happened along the way are of God and He is showing us many, many things.

Tomorrow, a number of us will watch the sun rise over the Dead Sea [yes… symbolic of the SON and His Glory arising in this place]. After that, we will leave for 4 days in Jerusalem. We are looking forward to our time there. Thank you again for all of your prayers... much is happening and we could not do this without you. [Feet in the waters of En Gedi]
In His Aroma,
The Eye of God Team

[Tony… many say thanks to YOU for setting up this blog!!] [Branden… there was a performer in the lobby last night that sang “our song” in Hebrew… of course when he saw us he switched to English & Judy ended up singing in the mike with him]

DAY 4 -- TO The DESERT

Day 4
This will be short as we want to send you pictures without words. We saw many interesting things today…please see the pics!

We traveled South from Galilee and stopped at Mt. Gilboa where Gideon and his army drank the waters.[Judges 7]. There was beautiful foliage everywhere UNTIL we entered the desert which is vast and barren. Saw Bedouin tents where entire families dwelled and then arrived at an area with high-rise hotels surrounded by the Dead Sea. This was quite a contrast.

Stopped at Qumran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Then ended up at a wonderful, lush and beautiful resort Hotel on the Dead Sea Shores. [I know this place is beautiful… it’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it.]

We thought “Papa” was treating His “girls” to a rest and bit of seeking His face prior to Jerusalem. wrong. We have encountered some of the most intense warfare and intercession since we’ve arrived in Israel. Come to find out, this place is inhabited by many older people who are Holocaust survivors, and they come here to heal in the mud baths and Salt Sea. Please pray for the team that we walk forth in the love of the Lord in spite of what goes on around us. Declare forth Ezekiel 47….

Side note of interest… It’s amazing that many of us are only wearing 2 to 3 outfits since we are unable to wear our wool turtle necks and corduroy’s as it is in the 80’s & 90’s!

Thanks for all your prayers… we can really feel them!
In HIS Aroma,
The Eye of God Team

DAY 3 -- THE JORDON

Day 3
Today was an amazing day! We traveled from the Galilee region to the northernmost part of Israel and prayed over the water sources at the base of the Mt. Hermon mountain range. These tributaries of water flow down from this mountain range and are the source of the Jordan River as it flows from here and into the Sea of Galilee. Beautiful, clear, crisp and very cold water flowed up from the ground and rock, despite the fact that Israel has been lacking rainfall. We were blessed to pray by a wonderful area that we had all to ourselves.

As a part of traveling to this area we saw the borders of Lebanon, Syria & Jordon. It was very intense seeing areas that were bombed in the Summer of 2006 as we actually passed through the town on the edge of Israel that did indeed receive much of the rockets.

We have noticed such an abundant number of trees throughout the lands we have visited. There are so many varieties including pistachio, mango, date palm, banana, eucalyptus, rubber trees, cypress, avocado, pomegranate, plum and orange trees, just to name a few. These are in addition to all the different pines and oak trees. [Diane is the official tree keeper.]

A personal highlight of this day was our time spent at the Jordan River getting baptized. Oh, how awesome it was! People from many different nations were drawn to watch us, film us and talk to us. Some even asked us to explain what we were doing as we baptized. There were new Arab convert Christians present who didn’t even know how to do it and they asked us who we were praying to. When they found out we were baptizing in the name of Jesus they cheered! It was intense and very moving.

We wondered why the Lord had us keep taking pictures of our feet at each water site [yes, we saved you a few] and today we realized why. After being baptized, we were asked by a man from Sir Lanka to pray for his wife. She had problems with her feet and as we stood there praying for her she was very touched. Prior to our journey we prayed that God would give us every part of Israel upon which our feet tread. I believe He took us seriously. Praise God!

Our tour guide, said we were all full of spirit…. but he doesn’t know “what” spirit. Keep praying that he is touched and continues to see the Spirit as we go forth. He tells us that we have been very blessed to have the sites mostly to ourselves as we travel. Thank you God!

DAY 2 BY THE SHORES OF GALILEE

Day 2
We left Haifa early today and drove north through many places where Jesus ministered. We spent much of the day on or by the Sea of Galilee. Our tour guide, Abraham, was able to get us a boat ride on the water. It was powerful to think about Jesus walking on the water…calming the storm…. and speaking forth to the multitudes the Beatitudes as well as His teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. So many things happened on or by these waters, you couldn’t help but simply look at them.

Our times of touring during the day are great, but the highlight for this day was our time of prayer and worship on the shore of the Sea of Galilee after it was dark. The sky was clear and the stars full as we declared forth many things… prophesied to the dry bones Eze. 37… declared forth the pouring out of His love to the nation….unity for the Jews amongst themselves…and for the miracles that Yeshua walked in to be released amongst the believers in the land.

We released many things from the Word of God at the water’s edge, and once again the Lord was faithful to be in our midst. All evening long we had many times of literally smelling the aroma of the Lord as very strong incense. It was intoxicating and wonderful. We are still so very excited to actually be able to pray IN the land of Israel the many prayers we’ve prayed from afar. We know something is up for this place and have run into many groups who we find at times weeping with intercession for this land and the Jewish nation as a whole. We talked with a woman from China today who is part of a group of 500 touring the land, bless the nation and pray. They are selling their cars and their homes to be able to travel here. Talk about commitment and desperation for the things of God heart.

Tomorrow we will come very close to Lebanon and will actually travel through the Golan Heights area. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We feel so protected and covered in His wings according to Psalm 91, and it is awesome to know that you are joining with us in blessing this land! We Love you and send Shalom to you from Israel. [if the short video doesn't work at the bottom...sorry... I'm new at this & simply testing it to see if it works]

DAY 1 WE'RE HERE

WE ARE IN ISRAEL!! This will be a very fast update as we leave in a short bit. But, we at least wanted to send you a quick note.

Day 1 We arrived safely after a long day of flying. We traveled north from Tel Aviv along the coast toward Haifa. On the way we stopped in the ancient port town of Ceasera, put our feet in the Mediterranean Sea and Prayed…. Habbakkuk 3:17 & Eze. 47 that the Glory of the Lord would be as a river that would cover the earth like the waters cover the sea. It was dusk as we stood along the shore, but we were so very excited to be touching the waters and standing upon the land feeling the sands beneath our feet

We traveled then to Haifa another port town and proceeded to our hotel situated on the highest point on Mt. Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We had a Shabbat feast at the hotel & our tour guide actually prayed with us at the table in the restaurant as we partook of communion right at our table. It was a precious time and the food was wonderful, much of which we had not tasted before. But, we were very brave and partook of things that were indeed a bit foreign. It brought to mind the bridegroom feast spoken of in Revelation.

After dinner we had Prayer from one of our rooms overlooking the night skyline and the Mediterranean Sea. Amazingly the window opened from our 11th floor hotel room! We released prayer & worship into the open skies with the stars overhead. Barb even played her flute through the window. We prayed for winds… water, water, water…. that the Spirit of Elijah would come [since this is actually the spot where he was] We also prayed for ….rain, wind, fire….. Ps 24… the King of Glory would come… a release of signs & wonders… Isaiah 35 the splendor of Carmel and Sharon…that Israel will indeed see the glory of the Lord and the splendor of our God. We were facing west & we began calling the Jews back to the land… Our time was precious and powerful…and very overwhelming as many of us had never been to the land before. God was good to show up as always. We are very humbled to be here as His hands and feet and release the cries of His heart. . How good God is to have brought us here. Thank you for your prayers!! The eye of God team.

Additional Useful Links

Greetings to all. This is my first attempt to create a posting, so it may be a little rough. This is a link to the US customs and border patrol web site. It will give you some useful information as we start firming up our travel plans. http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/vacation/kbyg/. Another site which has some interesting reading is this site. It is the US Consulate in Jerusalem. http://jerusalem.usconsulate.gov/. Just a reminder to all that Rosh Hashanah begins today - "choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve....But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.: Joshua 24:15.
